Put some green            

Looking to have an organic and outdoorsy feel? Put some plants; get yourself small pots of bonsai, cactus, and stunted ferns. That way, your desk will have that natural feel. Having plants will also give you something to be busy about during break time. You can water them and pull weeds, which can be relaxing and calming. If you don’t have the time to maintain real plants, you can get artificial ones.

Place your memorabilia

Your desk and cubicle walls can be a canvas of memories. Make a collage of pictures of your family and friends and put them on your wall or table. You can also display some of your vacation photos. If you want to complement them with some text, print relevant, inspirational quotes and post them beside the images.  

Use calming colors

If your office allows full-on decorations, go for it! This is the perfect time to put wallpaper with your favorite colors. When it comes to this, go for the neutral and calming choices, such as white, cream, and yellow. Don’t be afraid to use prints.
